On Tuesday, May 25, roadworks will begin on the A16 motorway in Grande-Synthe and Dunkirk. The Belgian association of Carriers Febetra informed about the planned repairs.
The announced work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday at 10 p.m. and last until Thursday, May 27 at 6 a.m.
For drivers travelling from Belgium to Calais, traffic is scheduled to be diverted to the left lane towards Belgium-Calais for a distance of about 3 km between junctions 54 (Ford-Mardyck-centre Grande-Synthe) and 57 (A25-Lille).
In the opposite direction, the right-hand lane will run for a distance of about 4 km between Grande-Synthe and Dunkirk.
