Mont Blanc Tunnel
Starting September 18, 2023, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will undergo critical maintenance work. Due to this, there will be a **complete cessation of traffic** in the tunnel from **Monday to Thursday nights, between 22:00 and 06:00**. This will continue until further notice is given.
The authorities are also planning a full 7-week closure of the tunnel. Further details on this will be provided as soon as they become available.

Frejus Tunnel
According to the scheduled maintenance plan, the Frejus Tunnel will experience contraflow disruptions on weekdays from 23:30 to 04:30. The affected dates are September 15, 19-22, and 26-29. Please note that these dates may be subject to change.
On Saturdays, specifically September 16, 23, and 30, the contraflow will occur from 22:30 to 04:30. In addition, there will be total closures on:
- Saturday, September 16, from midnight to 02:00
- Saturday, September 23, from 22:00 to 02:00

Special Note for Hauliers
Vehicles weighing over 7.5 tons are prohibited from driving through the tunnels after 22:00 on Saturdays. These restrictions will likely have minimal impact on general hauliers but are important for those transporting exempted goods, such as perishable items.
