Customer Guide: How to Pay HGV Levy at Motis FSA, Dover

After being paused due to the pandemic, the UK HGV Levy will be starting August 1, 2023! But no worries, Motis has your back with convenient options. Pay the levy hassle-free at Motis Dover (FSA) locally, only on departure, keeping management costs low. Account Holders can enjoy payments on account for Registered vehicles.

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, please follow the instructions below on how to pay the HGV Levy, depending on whether you are a cash-paying driver or an account customer.

Cash or Card Payment (for Non-Account Customers)

For drivers who wish to pay in cash or by card on-site at Dover, we have a tablet that will facilitate the completion of an eForm with all the required information. Our dedicated staff at the FSA (Freight Services Agency) will process the levy and handle the payment on-site. Once the payment is made, the driver will receive a receipt from our parking till system.

Account Customers Payment Options

If you are an account customer, you have two options for paying the HGV Levy:

• Option 1: In-Person Payment

a. If your vehicles are already registered on our parking list, you can visit the counter at Dover and request the HGV Levy. Our staff will cross-check your vehicle's registration number with our approved account holder list to verify your account's active status.

c. The FSA staff will process the Levy, and at the end of the month, we will send you an invoice.

• Option 2: Request Submission

a. Ensure that your vehicles are pre-registered on our parking system.
b. Complete the eForm available at this link: https://zfrmz.eu/b7anfb6NRm84YOzWVXcy
c. Submit the request to the FSA, and they will handle the Levy payment. This option eliminates the need for the driver to visit the site.
d. At the end of the month, we will invoice you for the payment.

Important Notes:
When sending a request to the FSA, please ensure it is submitted a day before the levy starts to ensure timely processing. For ad-hoc Levy payments from known customers, please be aware that the process may take longer as we need to verify customer details and add them to our parking list.

New Customer Registration:
If you are a new customer and wish to use our services for the HGV Levy, please provide your fleet details by adding them to the fleet registration list and sending it to hgvlevy@motisfsa.com.

Confirmation and Liability:
Customers must not assume that the payment is completed by merely requesting it. Please wait for confirmation from our team. Failure to receive confirmation may result in fines for which the customer will be liable.
