As of the 01/07/2020 only euro 5 and 6 vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are able to cross Frejus, and Mont Blanc tunnels. Euro 3 and 4 are no longer permitted through Mont Blanc at all. Frejus tunnel will still allow euro 3 and 4 to cross until 31/09/2020, but only if a replacement vehicle has been ordered, but has been delayed due to Covid19. The haulier/driver are required to complete a self-declaration when travelling. The self-declaration is a legal document, and false statements will be treated as a criminal offence.
